D.J. Houlton

6/3/2005

Houlton will make the first start of his major league career in Saturday's matchup with the Milwaukee Brewers. Veteran Wilson Alvarez had been slated to take the mound, but was scratched due to shoulder tendinitis and struggles in his last two outings. In 13 relief appearances this season, Houlton has posted a 7.41 ERA with 14 strikeouts and nine walks in 17 innings.
