The San Francisco Giants recalled Shabala from Triple-A Fresno as part of a series of moves that included putting veterans Marquis Grissom and Edgardo Alfonzo on the 15-day disabled list Monday. The 27-year-old Shabala, a speedy outfielder, was hitting .287 with seven stolen bases, nine homers and 22 RBI for Fresno.
