Cabrera, who spent most of July with Cleveland, was recalled from Triple-A Buffalo by the Indians when reliever Arthur Rhodes went on a bereavement leave. The 23-year-old righthander posted a 1.93 ERA and fanned nine batters in 9.1 innings during his first stint with Cleveland.

Despite pitching fairly well out of the bullpen, Cabrera has been optioned back to Triple-A Buffalo by the Cleveland Indians. The 23-year-old righthander made five relief appearances during his short stint with the major league club this month, posting a 1.93 ERA. He struck out nine and walked six in 9.1 innings of work.

On Tuesday, the Cleveland Indians optioned Jason Davis to Triple-A Buffalo and recalled Cabrera from the same affiliate. Cabrera, a 23-year-old righthander, was 6-0 with a 0.99 ERA and three saves in 27 relief appearances for the Bisons.
