Navarro, who limped off the field Wednesday after straining his right hamstring, is expected to be out 10-14 days. MLB.com reported that the Dodgers' catcher received a cortisone injection and treatment for the injury, leaving Navarro feeling better about his prognosis.

Navarro limped off the field Wednesday after straining his right hamstring in the Dodgers' exhibition game against Atlanta. The Los Angeles catcher was injured running to first base in the fourth inning, and he immediately left the game.

The Dodgers recalled Navarro from Triple-A Las Vegas, where he was hitting .266 in 75 games, with six home runs and 29 RBI. To make room for him on the major league roster, Mike Rose was sent down.

Navarro's stint on the Los Angeles Dodgers' roster was a short one. After being recalled over the weekend to replace the injured Paul Bako, the catcher has been optioned back to Triple-A Las Vegas. He did not record an at-bat.
