Hard-throwing right-hander Bobby Jenks assumed closer duties over the second half of the Chicago White Sox's championship season a year ago, but he has struggled with command this spring. He's struggled enough that White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen has told The Daily Herald that Cotts could work ninth innings to open the season if Jenks doesn't start throwing strikes and hitting his spots more effectively.
