The Texas Rangers recalled McDougall for a fourth time on Monday. The 26-year-old utilityman was 2-for-13 (.154) with a run scored and eight strikeouts for the Rangers this season. At Triple-A Oklahoma, he was a .341 hitter in 223 at-bats, with 11 doubles, 16 homers and 64 RBI in just 57 games.

The Texas Rangers optioned McDougall to Triple-A Oklahoma on Wednesday. In three stints with the Rangers, the 26-year-old utilityman was 2-for-13 (.154) with a run scored and eight strikeouts.

Texas recalled McDougall from Triple-A Oklahoma on Saturday. He takes the spot of Richard Hidalgo, who was placed on the disabled list with a wrist injury.

With an open spot on the roster after optioning C.J. Wilson to the minor leagues, the Texas Rangers have recalled McDougall from Triple-A Oklahoma. The infielder has batted .335 with eight home runs, 52 RBI and five stolen bases with Oklahoma this season.

McDougall's stay with the Rangers barely lasted three weeks, as Texas needed to add a catcher to the roster after starting catcher Rod Barajas suffered a minor back ailment over the weekend. On Monday, the Rangers optioned McDougall to Triple-A Oklahoma and recalled catcher Gerald Laird from the same affiliate.

The Texas Rangers recalled McDougall from their Triple-A Oklahoma affiliate on Tuesday. The infielder was batting .320 with nine doubles, seven homers and 39 RBI in 39 games for Oklahoma. He also posted a .387 on-base percentage and .542 slugging mark. To make room for McDougall, the Rangers designated outfielder Chad Allen for assignment.
